Digitized Painted Logo for a Financial Advisor
Who says branding for a financial advisor can’t be fun, playful and beautiful? In 2015 we helped Josée Rainville develop her brand identity and it’s still relevant today and still represents her well. Josée knew she wanted a daisy as her logo but we wanted to find a way to make this symbol look corporate and make sense in her field.
The daisy logo we created began as a hand-painted daisy full of depth and texture. It was beautiful, but it didn’t quite “fit” as a logo for a financial advisor. We decided to try outlining the flower so we’d get a solid shape. What that did was give us a more typical and corporate 1-colour shape while keeping the line quality of a hand-painted logo. The best of both words merged!
You can just tell by the irregular shape of each petal that the logo was done by hand. It looks unique and refined. Our client LOVED it!
In today’s digital era it’s nice to still make art by hand and then convert it for use online or in print. There’s nothing like that personal touch to create a unique look.
